# Controlled Pilot Guide

A general guide to using the current controlled pilot at [adcpcapital.com](https://adcpcapital.com). This page covers the visitor-facing flow only — internal operator and test-asset seeding procedures are intentionally not published here.

## Before you start

* This is a **test-asset-only** environment on Base Sepolia. Nothing here has real value, and nothing you do here affects any production system.
* You will need a standard Ethereum-compatible wallet (e.g. a browser extension wallet) connected to Base Sepolia.

## Typical flow

1. **Connect your wallet.** Use the wallet control in the application header. Connecting is only required for a write action (originating or repaying a credit position, contributing capital, etc.) — every read-only view is visible without connecting anything.
2. **Confirm you're on the right network.** If your wallet is on a different chain, the application shows an explicit "wrong network" notice with a one-click switch action.
3. **Explore the live proof.** The `/credit`, `/senior-capital`, `/system`, and `/risk` views (linked from the [Proof](https://adcpcapital.com/proof) page) show real, live contract state — not a simulation.
4. **Try the BTC-Secured Credit flow.** Origination, repayment, and collateral actions are all live — subject to the pilot's current parameter configuration (minimum loan size, LTV limits, etc.), which the application itself will tell you if a requested action isn't currently permitted.

## Getting test assets

Test USDC and the test BTC representation used in this pilot have no real value and are not available through any public faucet at this time. If you need test assets for a specific evaluation, use the contact channel on [Work With ADCP](https://adcpcapital.com/work-with-adcp).

## Getting help

For a business/partnership conversation, see [Work With ADCP](https://adcpcapital.com/work-with-adcp). For a technical question about the protocol's own behaviour, see [Developers Overview](/developers/overview.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.adcpcapital.com/operations/controlled-pilot-guide.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
