# Introduction

**ADCP (Autonomous Digital Capital Protocol) is verifiable capital infrastructure for digital credit and real-world-asset financial products.** A financial partner keeps the client relationship, brand, and regulated role; ADCP provides the deterministic capital-control, credit, reserve, and accounting engine underneath the product.

This is the technical documentation. For the commercial overview, product catalogue, and live controlled proof, see [adcpcapital.com](https://adcpcapital.com).

> **Status.** ADCP currently runs one controlled pilot deployment on Base Sepolia — a public Ethereum test network. **Test assets only. No real value is at risk anywhere in the current deployment.** Nothing in this documentation is an offering document, investment recommendation, legal opinion, or a representation that any product is licensed, approved, or ready for production/mainnet use. See [Controlled Pilot](/introduction/controlled-pilot.md) for the exact scope of what is and is not currently live.

## Where to start

* **New to ADCP?** Start with [What Is ADCP](/introduction/what-is-adcp.md) and [Deterministic Capital](/introduction/deterministic-capital.md).
* **Evaluating a product?** See [Products Overview](/products/overview.md).
* **Verifying the pilot yourself?** See [Observable State](/verification/observable-state.md).
* **Integrating or building?** See [Developers Overview](/developers/overview.md).
* **Operating a wallet against the pilot?** See [Controlled Pilot Guide](/operations/controlled-pilot-guide.md).

## Document status

This documentation set is curated public source, versioned in the same repository that governs the protocol itself. It draws only from established repository authority (the Protocol Constitution, Economic Specification, accepted architecture decisions, and glossary) and from functionality actually implemented and deployed in the current controlled pilot. It does not include founder strategy working notes, unresolved legal/regulatory questions, internal research, pricing hypotheses, or any operationally sensitive material — those remain internal to the protocol's own repository.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.adcpcapital.com/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
